You are the most romantic ending I have ever known
The rain falling on our wet lips clenched in a moment of endless passion
The music orchestrated to our every move
The natural light of sun warming your skin
The conflict that heats the passion
The letters, the regret, the pain, the times that were almost so right
You are the romantic ending that will be studied for generations
A cure for the broken heart
So many lost moments earlier in the film
What almost was
So many times
Drown by meaningless affairs of the heart
With every passionless night; so many faceless beauties, you were always in the shadows
Lingering at the edge of my unfulfilled heart
The benchmark of this existence
My reason for being
A helpless soul, I was, always searching for what I already found
A wonderful misadventure this has been
Still
After all this time
I know
You are the most romantic ending to this story
I see now, with this dried up pen, there is no more to write
It is now time to live in the moment after the credits have run their course
The part that is just meant for you and I
Our sequel
A continuation
Bury the mistakes
Close our eyes to what might have been
See me for the first time once again
Feel the glimmer that began so long ago
Raise your beauty to the sun and hear the music intensify
Because this is now
This is the most romantic ending I have ever known

Applying to the College of Charleston just got a little easier.
Starting Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, the College of Charleston will give applicants the option of applying to the College through the Common Application. The Common App is an online application program used by over 900 colleges in the United States for undergraduate admissions.
By
becoming a Common App member, the College of Charleston will streamline
the application process for students interested in applying to multiple
institutions, and gain exposure to students who may not have otherwise
considered CofC.
“We joined Common App to help simplify the college application experience for students and counselors,” said Jimmie Foster Jr.,
vice president of enrollment planning at the College. “Our new
partnership with the Common App will help the College educate more
students about the value, attainability and affordability of a College
of Charleston degree.”
Students applying for college through the
Common Application website will be able to submit one application –
instead of having to submit multiple ones – to the schools of their
choosing. Information required in the application includes class rank,
SAT/ACT test scores, essays, GPA and letters of recommendation.
Last year more than 1 million students submitted 4 million applications through Common App.
“Joining Common App will make the College of Charleston more accessible to more students as well as expand the College’s reach and visibility,” said College of Charleston President Andrew T. Hsu. “Further, it will enable us to continue recruiting the best and brightest students from around the country and the world while making it easier for students to apply to the College.”

At Endodontic Associates of Charleston, their mission is clear: Provide an exceptional customer experience and after our visit, we concur. Having been treated by a genuinely caring and exceptionally well-trained staff, treating my root canal with sensitivity and comfort, it was clear they have a very special practice.
Here are a few other reasons to trust your teeth to this team:
Mission and Technology
We also are one of the only endodontic offices in South Carolina that uses Computed Tomography scans (CT slice scans) to completely evaluate and diagnose your tooth condition before any treatment is rendered. The vital information gleaned from this technology is unparalleled in the dental field and is considered by most to be the future of dentistry.
We are also committed to delivering endodontic services at the highest level. If we feel, after thoroughly evaluating your particular situation, that you would be better served with either no endodontic therapy or an alternative treatment, we will gladly inform you prior to any treatment. Each endodontic case is unique, and every patient we treat deserves excellent care. Our promise to you is that we will work in conjunction with your dentist to determine a treatment approach that is right for you.
Team of dedicated, family focused professionals
Christopher T. Carter, DMD, MSD
Dr.
Chris Carter was born and raised in Greenville. A graduate of
Greenville High School, he attended Clemson University for his
undergraduate degree and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine
at the Medical a University of South Carolina. Before specialization in
Endodontics, Dr. Carter expanded his knowledge and scope of general
dentistry by completing a general practice residency at Palmetto Health
Richland in Columbia, SC. Dr. Carter then returned to the Medical
University of South Carolina for Endodontic Residency where he earned
his certificate in Endodontics as well as his Masters of Science in
Dentistry. During
his residency, Dr. Carter received extensive training on the use of
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) in Endodontics, and also completed
research dealing with various root canal filling techniques.
Dr.
Carter is a Board Certified Endodontist by the American Board of
Endodontics (Diplomate). This distinction is the highest academic and
professional honor achievable for the specialty of Endodontics.
Achieving the status of “Diplomate” in the American Board of Endodontics
only comes after rigorous testing and critique of a specialist’s
knowledge and work in the field, and doing so takes hundreds of hours of
additional time and effort on top of completion of one’s specialty
residency. Achieving this honor is a testament to the calling Dr. Carter
has to provide only the highest quality of care for his patients.
Dr.
Carter feels privileged to volunteer his time to provide dental care to
the underserved both locally and abroad. He enjoys traveling with
Dental Community Fellowship on international missions trips to countries
such as Ecuador, Honduras, Haiti, and Burundi. Locally, Dr. Carter
serves at Our Lady of Mercy free dental clinic on John’s Island, and in
state-wide events such as Dental Access Day.
Dr. Carter and his wife Britten have four children, Kendall, Bowen, Claire and Camden.
Andrew S. Chandler, DMD, MS
Dr. Chandler grew up in Greenville, SC, and graduated
with honors from the College of Charleston. He attended the Medical
University of South Carolina where he received his D.M.D. While in
dental school, Dr. Chandler served as class president for four years and
was awarded the South Carolina Dental Association’s most prestigious
award for outstanding academic and leadership qualities. Dr. Chandler
attended the endodontic residency program at The Ohio State University
where he received his Specialty Certificate in Endodontics. During this
time, he conducted clinical research on analgesia (pain control) and
earned his Master of Science degree for his work on pain control both
during and after root canal therapy.
Dr. Chandler is also part of the clinical faculty at the Medical
University of South Carolina’s pre-doctorate and post-graduate
endodontic programs.
He lives nearby with his wife, Alison, his children, Will, Pierce, Grant, and Smith.
All endodontic treatment is performed using a high-powered surgical operating microscope, providing both the endodontist and the assistant with commanding visual control in a remarkably precise manner previously unknown to dentistry.
We utilize an advanced digital dental imaging system which minimizes the already low radiation required and improves diagnostic capabilities through image enhancement computer technology.
Our office adheres to standards of infection control in accordance with CDC and OSHA guidelines. Our sterilization equipment is monitored daily for 100% effectiveness.
Our dental equipment uses a self-contained water supply and an in-house filtration system that is capable of delivering de-ionized, sterile water during all surgical and non-surgical procedures.
Your situation and treatment needs will be thoroughly explained with digital radiographs, microscopic photographs, and any other aids necessary so that you fully understand your needs prior to beginning treatment. All materials are broadcast on large, high-definition monitors in each treatment room to promote a more interactive experience.
Referring dentists have the ability to instantly access your information, including radiographs and photographs, through our secure, web-based system.
All anesthetics are administered through a computerized anesthetic delivery system known as the “Wand.” This device is well-known in scientific literature to produce a less painful injection and a more profound numbing effect.
Testimonials
“Crazy to say, but it was a great experience in having to get a root canal done! Staff and Dr. were all very kind and helped make the process easy. The procedure was painless for me and no pain afterward. I was very lucky! Thank you.”
“I was impressed with the level of care I received, and especially with the doctor’s sense of urgency. I expected to be evaluated and set up for rescheduling, but the doctor pressed ahead and executed the evaluation and root canal in one sitting. Being a vacationor and visitor to the area, this was truly, truly appreciated.”
“This is the first dental procedure I have gone through with absolutely no pain or discomfort. Thank You, Richard M.”
“Great experience for what I feared would be a painful time. Staff was excellent. Dr. Chandler did a great job. “
Best dental experience I have had. I wish your office could perform regular dental work as well!”
“Dr. Carter did an amazing job on my retreat. I was able to keep my crown which I was very thankful for. Lynnea was at the front desk for both of my visits and she was so sweet. She looked into my insurance coverage and helped me understand what all my financial responsibility would be. Brandy was an amazing assistant at both of my appointments. We had great conversations and I really enjoyed talking to her. Dr. Carter really welcomed me to the area and I could not have been more grateful to have him as an endodontist. ”
