I think I’m reading this right, but can you confirm — “…$70.00 annually for Charleston county residents and $85.00 for non-residents from the date of purchase.” So the pass isn’t necessarily Jan 1 – Dec 31; it can be purchased throughout the year and still benefit the user for 1 year, i.e. Oct 15, 2015 through Oct 14, 2016?
That is correct Ali. If you purchase November 1, the pass is good until Nov 1 of 2016.
Can the pass be shared? For example could I let my parents use it?
Richard, yes the card can be shared with other members of your family. It does not require an ID to use upon entrance to a county park facility. Specifically for McLeod Plantation, it is free for up to 4 people in a vehicle. https://www.ccprc.com/1488/Gold-Pass-Membership
My sister wants to use the my membership. Can she without me?
where can I buy a gold pass?
There is a link in the article that will take you right to the option to purchase.
Last year I had a Gold Pass for parking and when I renewed it they sent me a “membership” card which is about the size of of credit card. Is this the same as the Gold Pass? Thanks
Please clarify the Gold Pass will allow for parking at Isle of Palms County parking; similar to the IOP $60 seasonal pass?
Joseph, yes, IOP County Park is included in the pass. Here is a listing of all the parks and parking included in the pass – https://www.ccprc.com/1488/Gold-Pass
Does this include the wannamakers water park?
Yes it does. It is part of the Charleston County Park System.
i need to purchase a gold pass for my daughter for christmas. i don’t see a place to buy gift card.
i need to buy a gold pass for christmas. how do i go about doing that?
How many people does the pass cover to most places? Would I actually have to purchase two 70 dollar Gold passes for myself and the other person to get the noticeable benefits?
Does the gold pass cover fishing at the piers?
Is there any discounts on camping available?
Where do I select an option for the $70 Charleston County Resident fee? When submitting online, I am only given one option to pay $90.00. Thank you!
Why don’t I get the charleston county discount online. It’s only giving me the 90.00 option
Is the Gold pass good for public beach parking as well?
If it is a Charleston County park, yes.
