Who is behind the design and construction of the new International African American Museum in Charleston, SC?
There is tremendous buzz around one of the most important new museum openings in the nation, the International African American Museum (14 Wharfside Street, Charleston, SC). Curating some of the most important pieces of African American history, this museum, led by CEO Tonya Matthew, will bring an emotional narrative to life right in the heart of Historic Charleston, SC.
As important as the content within the windows and walls is the infrastructure that took thoughtful planning and design to become the landmark that sits today on the Charleston Harbor.
We’d like to take a moment to recognition the creative forces behind the design and construction of this beautiful piece of architecture.
