ATLANTA-BASED DINING DESTINATION TO OPEN ON MEETING STREET

The Select plans to open late May 2024

CHARLESTON, S.C. (April 22, 2024) – The Select, an Atlanta-based eatery, is making its way to Charleston, SC this spring. Nestled in the middle of downtown Charleston’s vibrant culinary scene at 465 Meeting Street, The Select will exude sophistication and charm – a perfect complement to the city’s rich, cultural tapestry. Diners can expect an inviting atmosphere with upscale decor and live music alongside unparalleled food & beverage offerings. “Charleston’s magnetic charm and culinary allure make it the perfect next stop for The Select. Its rich history, vibrant food scene, and warm hospitality made the city somewhere I always loved to visit”, says owner Dave Green, “When the opportunity to work with Greystar came along, we knew it was meant to be.”

The Select’s menu will infuse French Continental cuisine with the traditional flavors of the Lowcountry. Menus will include small plates like The Select’s famous French Onion Soup and Lobster Arancini, as well as larger entrees like Miso Sea Bass and Steak Frites. In addition to full brunch and dinner menus, a raw bar offering a curated selection of freshly shucked oysters and seasonal seafood selections will be available.
