Celebrate National Iced Tea Day with some delicious recipes from Charleston’s own Firefly Spirits

National Iced Tea Day is just around the corner on June 10 and what better way to celebrate than with the makers of the world’s first Sweet Tea Vodka– Firefly Spirits!

Using all-natural ingredients blended with real Louisiana sugar cane, Firefly’s vodkas and moonshines are all created to be simple to mix and even simpler to enjoy. The perfect summer flavors range from Ruby Red and Lemonade Vodka, to Peach and Strawberry Moonshine. 

Mo-Tea-To

• 2.5 oz. Original Sweet Tea Vodka
• 3 oz. club soda
• Mint leaves
• Lime juice 

Muddle mint leaves and lime juice in a glass. Add ice, fill with vodka and top with club soda. Garnish with mint. 

Nice to Mint You

• 1.5 oz. Original Sweet Tea Vodka
• 1.5 oz. lemonade
• ½ grilled lemon
• Soda water
• Mint leaves

Muddle mint leaves in a glass. Add vodka, lemonade, and splash of soda water. Squeeze half grilled lemon. Add ice and top with mint leaf for garnish. 

Peach Tea

• 1.5 oz. Skinny Tea Vodka
• .25 oz. Peach Moonshine
• 1.5 oz. pink lemonade
• 1 lemon wedge

Combine all ingredients over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge. 

Flower Power Hibiscus Tea

• 1 oz. Skinny Tea Vodka
• 3.5 oz. hibiscus tea 
• 3.5 oz. soda water
• Lemon wedge

Combine vodka, hibiscus tea and soda water in a glass. Stir and squeeze lemon to taste. Garnish with a lemon twist.
