Charleston-Based Event Professional, Jill Shortreed, Joins Elite International Charity Build

Charleston, South Carolina – Jill Shortreed, owner of Charleston Balloon Company, has been invited to join as a Captain for an elite international balloon event. She was chosen to be included as part of a talented team of event professionals tasked with creating a giant, immersive experience at the Balloon Wonderland event in Orlando, Florida, to aid the non-profit Give Kids The World.

Ms. Shortreed will be using her expert design and leadership skills that she has developed and honed as one of the top leading professionals in the industry over the last 25 years to create several fantasy-themed areas across a 30,000 sq. ft balloon village. She will be leading 6 teams, consisting of almost 60 balloon artists, at the Hyatt Cypress Regency Hotel in Orlando from Monday, July 11th through Friday, July 15th, 2022.
