Marbled & Fin’s Team Plans New Mount Pleasant Restaurant for Summer 2027

Neighborhood Dining Group is bringing a new restaurant concept to Mount Pleasant, with plans to open in summer 2027 at 1434 Ira Road.

Mount Pleasant’s dining scene could be getting a new addition from the team behind two of the Lowcountry’s best-known restaurant names: Husk and Marbled & Fin.

Neighborhood Dining Group will manage the new restaurant, which is planned for the Ira Road property originally built for Frank & Jack’s, according to reporting by The Post and Courier.

The project is targeting a summer 2027 opening, although the restaurant’s name, menu and specific concept have not yet been announced in the information currently available.

The new venture adds to Neighborhood Dining Group’s presence in the Charleston-area restaurant industry. The group is associated with Husk, the acclaimed Southern restaurant known for its focus on regional ingredients and Lowcountry culinary traditions, as well as Marbled & Fin, its steak and seafood concept.

For Mount Pleasant diners, the planned restaurant represents another potential addition to the community’s growing dining options. The Ira Road location offers an opportunity to bring a new concept to an existing restaurant space rather than starting with a newly constructed building.

More details about the restaurant’s identity, menu, design and opening plans are expected as the project moves forward.
