
The Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Grand Opening in Myrtle Beach, SC is set for 11:00 AM on Monday, May 25, 2026
The grand opening of the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial will take place at 11 a.m., Monday, May 25. The ceremony will also serve as the City of Myrtle Beach’s annual Memorial Day observance. All are invited to attend this much-anticipated event, which will include reflections from Vietnam War veterans and a keynote address by Medal of Honor recipient Maj. Gen. James E. Livingston, U.S. Marine Corps (retired).
The event will be at the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial at Warbird Park, 150 Farrow Parkway. Seating will be available for approximately 1,000 attendees. Guests are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
