There are so many ways you can prepare a 48 hour adventure in Charleston, South Carolina. We decided put together an itinerary. We’d love your comments and thoughts on your personal 48 Charleston adventure!

Day 1:

Start your day with a stroll along the Battery and take in the beautiful views of the harbor and historic homes.
Next, head to the Charleston City Market to browse local crafts, art, and souvenirs.
For lunch, head to Husk or Poogan’s Porch for some delicious Southern cuisine.
Spend the afternoon exploring the historic streets of Charleston, such as East Bay, Queen Street, Meeting Street, Tradd Street, and King Street.
For dinner, head to FIG or The Ordinary for some of the best seafood in town.
End your day with a stroll through the beautiful gardens of Middleton Place, or catch a show at the historic Dock Street Theatre.

Day 2:

Start your day with a visit to the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, one of the oldest public gardens in the country.
Next, head to the Gibbes Museum of Art to view their impressive collection of American art.
For lunch, head to Butcher & Bee for some creative sandwiches and small plates.
Spend the afternoon exploring the shops and galleries of the trendy Upper King Street district.
