A celebration of life for Dr. Ade Ofunniyin, who passed away last Wednesday, October 14, will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brittlebank Park
Dr. Ade Ofunniyin, the founder and CEO of the Gullah Society and grandson of the legendary blacksmith Philip Simmons.
His life and legacy have and will continue to leave a mark on the Charleston, Gullah, and Lowcountry community.
