Grand Opening: Lost Isle, a new fire-to-table eatery on Johns Island from the team behind Lowlife Bar
Lost Isle has landed on Johns Island at 3338 Maybank Hwy (right next to Tattooed Moose). The team behind Lowlife Bar has partnered with Thomas Wilson and Chef Josh Taylor in their latest venture which is scheduled to open in the next few weeks.
Lost Isle will be a fire-to-table eatery serving up small and large format dishes executed by Taylor, all coming from an expansive wood-fired grill.
What you will expect from this new dining concept
- Small dishes including whipped ricotta with smoked tomato, and wood fired oysters with chili butter.
- Larger plates like grilled whole fish with hazelnut salsa matcha, Delmonico steak with chimichurri and tomahawk pork chops with tomato-cherry chutney.
- Side dishes including charcoal roasted carrots, charred wedge salad, and curry braised collards from local farmers will also be featured on Lost Isle’s menu.
- Bar menu – House-made cocktails on tap, beer, wine, ice-cold martinis and Manhattans.
- Special events and themes will be very much alive and well.
Most importantly, you are going to be surrounded by good vibes, warm fires, gratifying cocktails and a setting that welcomes your best Zac Brown and Jimmy Buffett Best Self Soundtrack.
