Media Alert: CARTA to break ground on new Rivers Avenue park-n-ride facility March 6
WHAT: CARTA will host a groundbreaking ceremony for a new, system-owned park-n-ride facility on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston. The ADA-compliant facility will feature 289 parking spaces, in addition to bathrooms and bike racks, offering commuters the area’s first dedicated, permanent park-and-ride option. The lot will be fenced and lit and will feature security access. The groundbreaking marks the next step in regional park-and-ride strategy.
