This is one for all the funky, head over heels nature lovers here in the Low country. We know the beauty of our skies, calmness of the harbor, shelter of our Palmettos and the tranquility of our beaches, but what about our little friends right at our feet, the mushrooms.
They are a unique part of our ecosystem, living by their own rules, popping up wherever they want and taking on amazing shapes and colors. They are the unpredictable element of nature. For that, we love them.
We wanted to share a pictorial of some of the beautiful mushrooms here in the Low country. Picture some at your toes and take a walk we me as we enjoy these unique quiet neighbors just hanging out in the shade.
