The Thumbs Up Guys Scholarship

At Miller, Dawson, Sigal, & Ward Injury Attorneys, we are loyal to our community. We have its back through thick and thin, protecting the rights of the people who belong to it. That’s why we’re known as the Thumbs Up Guys.

While ours is traditionally a reactionary role in society, it is our belief that to love your community and do right by it, you also have to be proactive. That is why we are pleased to launch the Thumbs Up Guys Scholarship. Because education paves the way for a society to flourish, we want to play a part in helping students get the schooling they desire to contribute something great to our community. The scholarship will grant three students a $1,000 scholarship each to be applied towards their tuition or other education-related expenses.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Students who have been accepted or currently attend a 2 or 4-year college or university in South Carolina.GPA of at least 3.0.

Employees of Miller, Dawson, Sigal, & Ward Injury Attorneys and their relatives are not eligible to participate.

Applicants must submit their application and essay via this form.

ESSAY TOPIC

IMPORTANT DATES

October 23rd, 2020 – We will begin accepting applications for the Thumbs Up Guys Scholarship. April 30th, 2021 – Application deadline. Submissions after this date will not be accepted. May 17th-21st, 2021 – The three chosen winners will be notified via email. May 24th – June 11th, 2021 – Checks will be distributed directly to the winners. We will coordinate a time with you to pick up your award!**The winning applicants will be announced on Miller, Dawson, Sigal, & Ward Injury Attorneys’  social media.
