Stephen & Andie Food Vloggers Present: FOOD TOUR of Charleston’s French Quarter | Charleston, SC, USA | vlog no. 31 (New Video)

Charleston is known for cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture, and food! So we took ourselves on a DIY food tour of Charleston’s French Quarter to enjoy all of the scrumptious Southern delicacies we could fit in a day. Starting with coffee, of course, we had breakfast at the kinda’ pricey Harken Cafe. It’s weird to get sticker shock, being from L.A.! Then we headed to the Historic Charleston City Market to see what the local vendors had on offer.

There weren’t as many food options there as we were expecting, but we scored some benne wafers (along with a bit of cultural history with them!) and on a second walk-through we found Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit Company for some lunch. Next, we headed into the Fashion District for a local ice cream shop that hand-makes all of their ice cream on-premises!

After a stroll along the waterfront at Waterfront Park, down to the Battery, and with a brief break to do the Charleston like the flappers of the 1920s did, we headed back to the French Quarter for dinner. We chose Hyman’s Seafood for the rave reviews and the name. Watch the video to see why, then leave a comment for my cousin, Liz!
