Let us tell a little bit more about Ty Neal and his vision:
Ty Neal, owner of Ty’s Roadside Coastal Kitchen, opened his doors at 713 Coleman Boulevard in 2020 in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic after moving to South Carolina with his wife, three kids and dog from the Washington D.C. area. It’s said that many of the businesses at this address experienced challenges unlike their neighbors, inevitably leading them to close up shop. Since their opening, Ty’s Roadside has demonstrated what it really takes to survive as a family business over the last three years.
With local charm and next-level Americana, Ty’s has a heart-warming presence within the community. Ty’s daughter, Frankie, runs head of house after school. Ty’s wife, Alaina, assists Frankie and helps out in the prep kitchen on her days off from work as a nurse. And his sister, Sarah, often comes up from Miami to help out her big brother wherever hands are needed.
Authentic family business is hard to come by, but that’s what makes Ty’s Roadside a cornerstone of the Mount Pleasant community.
