WITH THE OPENING OF A NEW CHARLESTON LOCATION THIS FALL

Brooklyn-based, Small-Batch Ice Cream Company brings Bold Out-of-the-box Flavors to Charleston, SC, marking the Company’s Second Location in the South

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (August 5, 2021) – OddFellows Ice Cream Co., the beloved ice cream company known for their out-of-the-box and eccentric ice cream flavors is thrilled to announce the opening of a brand new location in Charleston, SC.OddFellows’ new South Carolina outpost will allow travelers and locals alike the unique opportunity to transport their tastebuds with otherworldly flavors, created by James Beard-nominated chef Sam Mason, such as Miso Cherry, Passionberry Buttercake and Chocotorta.

“Charleston has long been known for its unparalleled hospitality and we’re excited to play a part in its longstanding legacy by bringing a new kind of culinary experience to the community,” said OddFellows’ Co-owner, Mohan Kumar. “We can’t wait to provide a fun and vibrant space for friends, family and loved ones to come together and indulge in our unconventional ice cream flavors.”

Set to open its doors this Fall, OddFellows’ new Charleston location will span across 1,400 square feet. and offer a revolving menu of 30 flavors, including a large selection of vegan options, for ice cream enthusiasts to enjoy. The new Scoop Shop will also feature various soft-serve flavors, milkshakes and ice cream floats that are sure to please any palate. 

In celebration of the milestone opening, OddFellows will be partnering with locally beloved, Charleston businesses to host several engaging pop-ups for the community to come and enjoy. On Thursday, August 12 from 5 – 10 p.m., award-winningLeon’s Oyster Shop and OddFellows will be serving up South Carolina-inspired “King St. Counter Crunch Sundae,” made with housemade sorghum dulce de leche, benne seed wafers and OddFellows’ famed “Bodega Counter Crunch” ice cream. Note this is offer is available for dine-in guests only. On Saturday, August 14, OddFellows will also be popping up at Graft Wine Shop from 12 – 3 p.m. to offer free scoops and plenty of flavors to delight in.
