Bull & Finch Opening in Mount Pleasant On September 1, 2021

Charleton, S.C.– August 4, 2021- Mount Pleasant’s newest gastropub, Bull & Finch, will open at 1710 Shoremeade Road on Wednesday, September 1. An upscale neighborhood hangout with a focus on innovative, fresh cuisine and local beer, Bull & Finch will feature a pub-style room home to a 20-seat bar with TVs for watching the game, in addition to a more elevated dining room, catering to a variety of guest’s preferences. Offering a large array of soups, salads, appetizers, chargrilled rustic toasts, sandwiches, mains, sides and desserts, (many with half portion options), Bull & Finch’s menu caters to customization and sharing.

“We are so excited to welcome the Charleston community to our warm and relaxed gastropub,” shares Owner Mike Russo. “We hope friends and families will return time and time again, and find comfort in our little gem of a restaurant.”

Chef Brandon Buck will serve as Executive Chef of Bull & Finch, formerly the Executive Chef of Tradd’s, and prior to that, Blossom and Middleton Place. Standout starters from Buck will include the likes of Duck Confit Sliders, Chargrilled Chicken Wings and Arancini, along with mouthwatering sandwiches like the Blackened Tuna, or Southern Pride Burger, made with ground chuck and short rib, pimento cheese and a chili sorghum syrup. 


Highly anticipated mains include Beer Battered Fish & Chips, Gourmet Mushroom Risotto, Braised Short Ribs and Ricotta Gnocchi, and more, many available in half portions. Diners are warned to avoid skimping on the sides at Bull & Finch, as Buck’s Fried Brussel Sprouts and Duck Fat Fries with a duck-bacon aioli are not-to-be missed. Guests can end their meal on a sweet note with decadent options like Bull & Finch’s seasonal fruit pies and 4-Layer Carrot Cake. Local beer from more than 10 Charleston breweries will also be on tap from the likes of Munkle, Westbrook, Coast, Palmetto and Edmund’s Oast, in addition to an approachable selection of reds, whites and bubbles.

Bull & Finch will be open Monday-Friday from 4 p.m-12 a.m., and Saturday-Sunday from 11 a.m.-12 a.m.
