Sotheby’s International Realty Global Referral Network Delivers Record-Breaking Sale on Tybee Island
21 Teresa Lane exchanges hands for $4.2 million, the highest-price residential real estate sale on Tybee Island
On Thursday, December 16, 21 Teresa Lane closed for $4.2 million, setting the record for the highest-price residential sale on Tybee Island.
The buyer, represented by Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty, came to the Lowcountry brokerage by way of the Sotheby’s International Realty global referral network. Spanning 75 countries and territories and 1,000 offices worldwide, Sotheby’s International Realty harnesses the power of relationships by cultivating this exclusive referral network. It’s a strategy that yields results, generating $2.9 billion in global referral volume in 2020. According to the National Association of Realtors®, a key factor for moving over the last year was to be closer to family and friends. As relocations continue, Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty asserts their cross-market connections will provide buyers and sellers an edge.
In the case of 21 Teresa Lane, the referral to Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty came from Jamie Curry of Florida’s Gulf to Bay Sotheby’s International Realty. The Lowcountry-based firm enlisted top agents in Pawley’s Island, SC, Charleston, SC, Bluffton, SC, and Savannah, GA to showcase each area of the region’s exceptional listings. The white glove, high-touch approach brought the buyer to 21 Teresa Lane, a 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, 5,219 square foot oceanfront home that had last changed hands in 2010, also through Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty agents.
Kelli Weis, broker-in-charge of the Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty office in Savannah, served as the buyer’s agent.
“This is an example of the Sotheby’s International Realty network delivering results,” said Weis. “With our newly expanded regional footprint, we’re able to provide clients around the world with expert local agents in all areas of the Lowcountry.”
The seller was represented by Taavo Roos of Seabolt Brokers, LLC.
