We were fortunate to experience a true Lowcountry Holiday Event Tradition with the 20th Annual Mepkin Abbey Crèche Festival. This free event (reservations required) showcases 53 nativity scenes from all around the world offering beautiful and interpretive perspectives in an indoor and outdoor setting.

While you are there, there is a wonderful gift shop, hot chocolate and cookies and the inspirational gardens and grounds of Mepkin Abbey.
