New Muse Concerts Presents Flow: Cycles in Music, Water and Nature – August 18 – 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
New Muse Concerts and the South Carolina Aquarium invite you to a live musical performance that explores cycles found in nature: darkness that gives way to light, tides that rise and fall and rituals that mark the changing seasons. Selections from Libby Larsen and Claude Debussy, played by a string quartet under the glow of the Great Ocean Tank, explore cyclical themes that weave an intricate story for both the ear and mind.
Aquarium member tickets are $35; general admission tickets are $40. A light reception will follow the performance.
Beer From Here – An After Hours Event – August 22 – 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Cheers to another year of Beer From Here! The South Carolina Aquarium is bringing back this popular 21+ all-inclusive event for thirsty Thursday on August 22 from 7–10 p.m. Enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience that combines a craft brewery crawl, an epic waterfront view and all the fun of visiting the Aquarium after hours. Tickets include admission to the Aquarium, unlimited tastings from multiple local breweries, delicious Lowcountry light bites, entertainment and a souvenir tasting glass!
General admission tickets are $65; Aquarium member tickets are $60.
Evening Yoga – August 26 – 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Wind down and experience the positive effects of being surrounded by water in this evening yoga session, led by certified instructor Gail Corvette. Surrounded by sea life, hone your favorite yoga poses while in the expansive glow of the Great Ocean Tank. Adults 16+ of all experience levels are welcome; member adult registration is $12 and non-member adult registration is $17.
