Yes! You don’t want to move here. It’s way too nice as it is.
    Shhhhhh.!

I so agree with the con of cost of living challenge in Mt Pleasant. Another pro to consider is close proximity to international airport. It’s small, so easy to get to, and since it’s international, there are many opportunities.

You forgot the facts that Mt Pleasant is INSANELY over-priced in the housing market it is BEYOND redic. Also failed to mention that the general population of Mt Pleasant still thinks it is in high school.

The beaches are nice if you can get there. People on IOP, Sullivan’s Island make it difficult to visit. They act like it’s their private spot and pass rules about everything to keep others out.

Yes, if you live here, and I’ve been here for longer than the rest of the idiots that moved in in the last two years, you can forget going to the beach.
Paying for it but you can’t get there.
      What a waste

If you have lived here for more than 5-10 yrs, you’ve had time to adjust & get used to the changes-traffic,rude people-who have moved here from mostly northern states,taxes-on Everything But you really don’t want to live here now,due to all of the changes! It’s a great place to visit, but look for other destinations to live!(🙏) 🤸😘

    Yes-ridiculously overpriced real estate.
Traffic is awful(mostly because no one knows how to engage an intersection, get up to 45MPH or utilize both lanes when turning from 17 to 41)and no one knows basic driving laws and courtesy. Speeds are NASCAR or Grandma and nothing else. I’ve driven in NYC, Boston and Miami but hate driving here more than all of those cities combined! Bless your hearts.
Another pro, however, is our incredibly clear night skies. I absolutely love walking the dog late at night and star gazing!
