Bodega

What began as a weekend breakfast pop-up out of Uptown Hospitality Group’s popular King Street hotspot Uptown Social, Bodega pays homage to the ubiquitous neighborhood bodega and specializes in colossal, Manhattan-style breakfast sandwiches. Opening in February 2022, the concept has cemented itself as a favorite among locals and visitors alike and features interiors invoking a distinctly New York vibe with graffiti, colorful tiles and custom works from local Charleston artist, Jennifer Griffith. Slated for 2024, Uptown Hospitality Group will open a second Bodega location at 414 Coleman Blvd. in Mount Pleasant building on the current menu and offering brunch-focused mains curated by Bodega executive chef Alec Gropman.
