MUSC global health epidemiologists and scientists are modeling the effects of COVID-19 in our region. Data is updated regularly and the latest insights include: The current 7-day average growth rate of new cases is 0.64 percent. This is a very low rate, although zero is desirable. There have been 35 new cases reported since 5/13/2020. Given the size of the population in the Charleston Tri-County, this is a low value.
