- Charleston is the top hidden gem city for snowbirds in South Carolina — Charleston ranks 11th among all US cities in our study, 7th for activities and dining, and 14th for housing and lodging availability.
- Myrtle Beach is the #2 top hidden gem city for snowbirds in South Carolina — Myrtle Beach ranks 13th among all US cities, 3rd for housing and lodging availability, and 19th for affordability.
